Set Limits Before You Play: A Practical Guide
Why limits matter
Deposit and session limits are tools that help you stay in control of your spending and time. Without them, it is easy to lose track of how much ringgit has gone into the lobby or how long you have been playing. Setting a cap beforehand removes the need for willpower mid-session.
On the platform, these limits apply to your entire account, not just one game. A daily deposit limit of RM100 means you cannot add more than that total across all games, whether slots, table games, or live casino. This protects your bankroll from impulsive top-ups.
Where to find the settings
Log into your account and go to the account or profile section. Look for a tab labelled 'Responsible Gaming', 'Account Limits', or 'Deposit Limits' — the exact name varies but the icon is usually a shield or gear. On the mobile site, this is often under the menu icon in the top corner.
If you cannot find it, use the site's search function or contact customer support via live chat. The settings are always available, not hidden. Once you open the page, you will see options for deposit limits, session time limits, and sometimes loss limits. Each has its own toggle and input field.
Setting a deposit limit
Choose a period: daily, weekly, or monthly. A daily limit is best if you play often; a weekly or monthly limit works for occasional play. Enter a ringgit amount that fits your budget — for example, RM200 weekly. Confirm the choice. The platform will ask you to re-enter your password to prevent accidental changes.
Once set, the limit cannot be raised immediately. Most operators enforce a cooling-off period of 24 hours to 7 days before an increase takes effect. Lowering a limit, however, is instant. This means you should pick a number you are comfortable with, as you cannot undo it quickly.
Setting a session time limit
Session limits control how long you can stay logged in during a single visit. On the same settings page, look for 'Session Limit' or 'Time Limit'. You can choose from options like 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or a custom duration. Once the time expires, the platform logs you out automatically.
This is useful if you tend to lose track of time while playing. For example, a 90-minute session limit means you get a warning at 75 minutes and a forced logout at 90. Any unsettled bets are settled normally, and your balance remains accessible after login. You cannot re-enter until the next day if you set a daily session cap.
What the limits mean in practice
A deposit limit of RM100 daily means you cannot deposit more than RM100 in a 24-hour window, regardless of how many times you click the deposit button. Attempts to exceed it will be blocked with a message. This applies to all payment methods: Touch 'n Go, GrabPay, Boost, bank transfer, and DuitNow.
A session limit of 1 hour means your play ends after 60 minutes. You can still withdraw funds or check history, but new bets are disabled. These limits do not affect your ability to request a cashout or contact support. They are purely preventive, not punitive. Review your limits monthly and adjust only downwards quickly.
